Sono ormai passati sei anni dall'ultimo album di Feist, Metals, vincitore nel 2012 del Polaris Prize, il prestigioso premio assegnato al miglior album canadese dell'anno.
La cantautrice e componente dei Broken Social Scene ha però finalmente annunciato oggi il suo quinto lavoro solista: Pleasure uscirà per la major Universal il 28 aprile, come riportato da Exclaim!
Il disco (che avrà la copertina qui sopra) è stato prodotto da Feist insieme a Mocky e Renaud Letang. Ecco come lo descrive il comunicato stampa ufficiale della Universal:
Un'esplorazione dei limiti emozionali, che comprende solitudine, rituali privati, segreti, vergogna, pressioni crescenti, disconnessione, tenerezza, rifiuto, attenzione e la mancanza di tutto questo
